Honne - Glow Honey Mask

Feed, treat and nourish your skin with our ultra soothing, honey based mask. Our unique formula is 38% honey, containing a specially developed blend of the rare New Zealand Kanuka and Manuka MGO 514+ honeys. Our blend is nutrient dense with a rich anti-inflammatory profile designed to rejuvenate, treat and improve the skin. It calms irritations, heals abrasions and promotes regeneration to leave your skin smoother and visibly healthier.

With New Zealand Glacial Clay, the mask gently exfoliates the skin’s outer layer to remove dead cells, cleanse pores, stimulate blood circulation and leave the skin clean and refreshed. Unlike other clay masks, ours does not dry hard or become tight and uncomfortable. Instead, we’ve balanced it perfectly with hydrating compounds to effectively activate the clay so it can purify your skin without drying during your application period.

For hydration and long lasting moisture delivery, we’ve included botanical extracts including Harakeke, Wakame Seaweed and Blackcurrant Oil. These work in harmony with the honey to combat irritation, correct redness, hydrate cells and support the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Gently exfoliates: The abundance of enzymes and antibacterial properties present in honey makes name a highly effective, gentle exfoliator. It evens skin tone, conditions and softens the skin while also helping to correct pigmentation, reduce symptoms associated with acne and removing dead skin cells.

Unclogs Pores: Honne removes dirt, impurities and makeup thanks to the syphoning effect of New Zealand Glacial Clay. It clears congestion and promotes greater elasticity to reduce the appearance of sebaceous filaments and enlarged pores.

Delivers Antioxidants: Manuka honey is naturally high in polyphenolic compounds, which are powerful antioxidants known to reduce free radical damage and offer the skin nourishment through antioxidant delivery.

Hydrates Skin: Honey is a natural humectant, which means it delivers slow release hydration into the skin, keeping it hydrated and supple even after the mask is removed. Wakame and Harakeke compound this effect, offering deep hydration to leave your skin plumper and naturally glowing.

Key Ingredients

Kanuka Honey: A close cousin to Manuka Honey, Kanuka Honey comes from the native New Zealand Kanuka Plant. It is high in arabinogalactan proteins, which boast skin tightening properties while also being incredibly soothing. Our Kanuka Honey is also rich in 3-Phenyllactic Acid, which offers skin protection and improves skin tone by reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Manuka MGO 514+ Honey: Our Manuka Honey is selected for its highly potent methylglyoxal (MGO) quality, which is incredibly soothing and anti-inflammatory. It is naturally antibacterial and promotes cell regeneration to heal and rejuvenate the skin.

Wakame Algae: Sustainably harvested from the pristine waters in New Zealand, Wakame Algae is rich in Polysaccharides, Fucoxanthin (carotenoid) & Phenolic compounds, which help to soothe irritated and damaged skin.

Harakeke: Similar to aloe vera, Harakeke is a gel-like substance which is celebrated for its antibacterial and soothing properties. It cools angry skin, clears pores and hydrates the skin to help prevent recurring breakouts and blemishes.

NZ Glacial Clay: Collected from the foothills of the Southern Alps, our glacial clay is comprised of ancient volcanic ash and fresh glacial water. It contains magnetic properties, which help to draw out impurities from the skin due to its negative charge. In addition to its deep cleaning powers, this clay improves the skin’s microbiome for long term skin health.

Mask:

Use Honne 1-2 times a week.

• Ensure your face and hands are clean and dry before applying.
• Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face and decolletage using a spatula.
• Allow the mask to sit for 15 minutes or up to 30 minutes. The mask will not dry during this time.
• To remove, apply water and gently massage the product to dilute it. Rinse with warm water to wash off fully.

Cleanser:

Honne can be used as a deeply cleansing daily face wash.

• Dampen face then apply a small amount of the mask.
• Massage to remove makeup and impurities.
• Remove completely with clean, warm water.

Tip: Don’t forget to apply Honne on your neck and décolletage whether you’re using it as a mask or a cleanser.
